Video Transcript:

Clients often ask me, "How much is my divorce going to cost?" The truth is, every case is different, so I cannot provide an exact number. However, there are several ways to reduce legal expenses.

One of the most effective ways to lower costs is by emailing your lawyer instead of calling. Phone calls are often lengthy because clients need time to express emotions, which is understandable. However, a well-structured email takes less time to read and respond to, reducing billable hours. A phone call that lasts 30 minutes may only take 10 minutes to address in an email, making email a more cost-effective option.

Another way to save money is by utilizing Zoom meetings instead of in-person consultations. Virtual meetings allow attorneys and clients to connect efficiently without travel or waiting time. Since COVID-19, Zoom has transformed legal communication, making divorce proceedings more affordable and convenient.

By implementing these strategies, clients can stay informed, communicate effectively, and minimize unnecessary expenses during their divorce.
